Jake Davison, Advantage Associates

As President of Advantage Associates, Jake brings a wide variety of campaign, public affairs, public relations, issue advocacy, lobbying and coalition building experience to the table for clients.

Previously, Jake was Michigan State Director of Communications and Policy for Americans For Prosperity, Senior Account Executive at Rossman Public Relations, Press Secretary for the House Republican Communications Office, and Deputy Research Director for the Michigan Republican Party. Jake, a registered lobbyist, has been a frequent guest on public affairs programs such as television’s Off The Record with Tim Skubick, and in the Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Flint, Saginaw, Ann Arbor, Benton Harbor, Traverse City, Jackson and Marquette radio markets. Jake has also been quoted by the Detroit Free Press, Detroit News, Reason Magazine, Oakland Press, Gongwer, MIRS, The Daily Beast and the American Spectator.

A graduate of James Madison College at Michigan State University, Jake is also President of the Board of Directors of Lansing Charter Academy and serves on the REO Town Commercial Association’s Economic Development Committee.


Joe DiSano, Main Street Strategies

Joe DiSano is a long-time veteran of Michigan politics and has experience in races across the United States.

In January 2011, DiSano was named one of Michigan’s most influential Democrats by Campaigns and Elections, the journal of record for political professionals. DiSano served in various key staff positions for the Michigan House Democrats and Congressman John Dingell.

In 2002, DiSano was retained by the Michigan House Democratic Fund to create the direct mail program for the caucus. DiSano was active in the 2001 Detroit mayoral campaign where he co-authored the field plan and contributed to the direct mail program.

DiSano was the manager of Michigan State Representative George Mans’ 1996 campaign and was lead strategist on Doug Spade’s 1998 long shot race for the Michigan House of Representatives. Spade went on to become the first Democratic House member from Lenawee County since World War I.

Most recently, DiSano produced direct mail and strategy for the first successful recall of a sitting Legislator since 1983.
